This story begins with Jorge Abreu and Claudia Almeida's passion for Portuguese cuisine, for welcoming and serving well. In 2021, the couple opened a grocery store selling products from small local businesses with the purpose of telling the story of Portugal through food. They chose the name STŌ, which refers to history and delves into the cultural roots of Portugal.
The project grew, becoming a welcoming restaurant, where tradition and modernity mix. At STŌ, each customer is invited on a gastronomic journey around the country, while Jorge shares the stories behind each dish.
In the details of the decoration, the selection of products and the preparation of the dishes, the couple's passion and gratitude for Portugal are revealed. It is a celebration of Portugueseness. With dedication, the entire STŌ team welcomes anyone who wants to enjoy authentic meals and share their own stories.
